Bobby is originally from Nebraska. At age 19, after a year of studying music composition at the University of Nebraska, he came to faith in Jesus. He immediately had a hunger to study God’s word. He soon got involved at Overland Hills Church, where he served on staff for 10 years in worship and eventually became an associate pastor. In 2021, the church sent him out to study at Bethlehem Seminary in Minneapolis, where he finished his Master of Divinity this May.
Bobby is a gifted musician as well. His primary instrument is piano, though he can also play guitar, drums and bass. He loves to arrange music, accompany groups and record. Bobby toured with Mannheim Steamroller for 10 years on keyboards.
He is a rare combination of pastor, theologian and musician. He is adept in a wide-range of musical styles. This combination is exactly what we have been looking for in a worship pastor.
Bobby is 34 years old and is married to his wife Sarah of 12 years. They have four children: Waldo (8), Dolly (6), Lois (5), and Robert (born this April).
