Brodie is proud to say he grew up right here on Sanibel Island, a place he will always consider to be home. He has been an active member of the SCC church body since he was eight years old. After spending the first few years out of high school trying different things, like managing Sanibel’s lone movie theater and traveling to Norway for an artist residency, Brodie has spent four of the last five years working in maintenance. When he’s not working, he loves planning trips with his friends, birdwatching, and playing ultimate frisbee.
