Mike is from Minnesota. He heard the gospel as a child and believed in Jesus at a young age, though he didn’t have firm assurance of his salvation until the age of 13. At that point he was baptized. Mike served as an elder at a Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Elk River, MN, and also served as the lead elder of an Evangelical Free Church plant in the same city. He and his wife Victoria have been members of SCC since 2021. He leads an SCC community group and is regularly involved with the Tuesday morning men’s group. He loves teaching the Bible in small group settings. Mike is retired from his family construction business. He lives full-time in Fort Myers. He and Victoria have been married 49 years. They have two daughters and seven grandchildren.
